The White Eagle label was established by Donald Gabor, the founder of Continental Record Co. Inc.
In his strategy to secure a high sales volume, Gabor launched several labels, each designed with a name that had a specific appeal to a targeted audience. It is clear that the "White Eagle" label was specifically intended to resonate with Polish immigrants. To enhance its appeal, the label not only produced original recordings but also reissued copies of records originally released by "Syrena Record."
