Stella Records was a notable record label based in Hillside, New Jersey, primarily known for its 78rpm polka records. The label was founded by Bernie Witkowski in 1952.
Witkowski, a talented musician and band leader with a rich family history in music, built a roster of young second-generation Polish musicians from New York, northern New Jersey, Connecticut, and northeastern Pennsylvania.
