ILCO
1910s
The record label ILCO was founded in the early 1910s by the Berlin leather goods wholesaler Ignatz Lange & Co.
After Ignatz Lange's death in 1912, the remaining stock of records was presumably put under nameless labels and sold.
As the names ILCO-PLATTE and ILCO-RECORD were used, it is likely that the records were also exported.
