Jazz Man
1946 - 1952
Founded by Nesuhi Ertegun, brother of the well-known Ahmet Ertegun (founder of Atlantic Records). Having married Marili Morden, owner of the Jazz Man Record Shop in Hollywood, he founded the Crescent record label in about 1944, which led to the Jazz Man label in 1946, which continued in his ownership until 1952.
