GRAMMOTONE
1950s - 1970s
Grammotone was a Danish record label specializing in the release of traditional Danish folk music and other local music genres. The company was founded in the early 1950s and was based at an address in Copenhagen. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Grammotone released a series of 78 rpm and later 45 rpm records, helping to preserve and promote Danish musical traditions.
The label ceased its activities in the late 1970s.
