Plaza Music Company Plaza Music Co. was not primarily a record manufacturer but a sales and marketing agency. It began as a musical merchandise wholesaler and sheet music dealer in 1911.
Plaza Music Co. enjoyed success in the 1920s as a distributor of various record labels, including Regal, Banner, and Domino records. However, it faced struggles after its split from Regal in 1929, following the formation of the American Record Corporation.
The company ultimately went bankrupt and ceased operations in 1933.
