Here is another English brand of conventional portable gramophone from the early 30's period and similar in appearance to HMV's Model 99 and Decca Rally.
Alba was the trade name of ALfred BArnes Limited. I think they were a North London Company and traded from the mid to late 1920's. They manufactured nothing original. All their machines were Swiss/German parts bolted into British cases.
