Íslenzkir tónar was an Icelandic music publishing company founded by Tage Ammendrup 12th of April 1947. First the shop sold only instruments and records as well as notes. The interest for icelandic music grew and so Tage Ammendrup buildt an own small record studio. The label produced over 100 78rpm records, about 98 45rpm singles as well as two double-albums (33 1/3).
The label and shop closed in 1965.
